Today is Giving Tuesday - a day that both reminds us to think of those in need and kicks off the charitable holiday season. It's a great day to thank everyone who has supported Mommy Sue's Children!
This Giving Tuesday, we have an anonymous donor that will match all donations made today through December 15 up to $10,000!!!
Last year, thanks to many generous donations, we provided 100% of the funds needed to run the Community School of Bellevue. In essence, we gave a year of education to 150 children and supported a community by supporting the teachers and staff!
This year the need is greater than ever. The school now goes to 7th grade, and in the wake of Hurricane Matthew, 70 new students enrolled as their families can no longer afford to pay for their education due to their crops being wiped out.
We ask for you to give from your heart to help these children once again. 100% of your donations (minus bank fees) go directly to the school for the children in the community who so desperately need a hand up.
