Champion Theme Middle School

Our 2016 Carton 2 Garden Grand Prize winner, Champion Theme Middle School in Stone Mountain, Georgia, is indeed the home of champions! Find out how their student-driven project initiated changes that increased environmental stewardship and sustainability practices across the entire school community, and promoted gardening skills and knowledge of good nutrition.

Wild Bird Holiday Decorations

Filling trees and shrubs with festive treats for the birds enlivens the winter landscape and supports our feathered friends. Handmade outdoor ornaments are also great gifts for kids to make and give.

Since 1982 our Youth Garden Grants have reached over
1.3 million students and hundreds of schools to establish new school and community gardens and assist in sustaining and renewing existing gardens. Application's are due December 15th, 2016, 11:59pm.
