#GivingTuesday Movement Comes to...
YOUR Neighborhood!

As volunteers with our Jobs for Life work in the Richmond City Justice Center, we SO appreciate the time and effort you give there... time away from friends and family. We are 100% volunteer organization, yet it still takes money to make things happen, especially as we expand (just like the Prayer of Jabez) in our new space in 2017.  Here are 2 opportunities for people to give of their time and talents.  Feel free to share with those who may want to serve or give!  Below is an email I sent out to our mailing list....  Thanks, y'all!  God Bless!!!  Marti

------------------------

#BlackFriday and #CyberMonday are now behind us. Whew. Today, Tuesday 11.29 is called #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving. The best part about #GivingTuesday is that you can give in any way that’s meaningful to you. You could give your time as a volunteer with Into The Neighborhood...

Volunteer on Tuesday, November 29th
We will gather in our new space located in All Souls Presbyterian Church at 19 Overbook Road, RVA 23222 from 11a-4p.  Swing by on your lunch hour. There will be simple ways to serve...

  • help organize our new clothes closet for men and women coming out of the Richmond City Justice Center and their families.
  • write cards to our Jobs for Life Graduates in the RCJC and local prisons.
  • drop by donations for the clothes closet or the RCJC
  • come by to learn more or email us for more information on volunteering in the RCJC, our new space, or the community
  • and more!
In addition to volunteering, you can support Into the Neighborhood financially...

Remember, you don’t have to be rich to make a difference, and it doesn’t matter how much you give. The only thing that matters is coming together, GIVING TOGETHER, and making Richmond a more neighborly, more generous place.

Thanks a million for supporting our work today - #GivingTuesday and every day. Please consider making INTO THE NEIGHBORHOOD a part of your end-of-the-year giving and also part of your 2017 monthly budget.  Thanks also for your coveted prayers. Best. Gift. Ever.

Thanks, Marti Williams
