On the airwaves, we heard Nova discuss the 'proper' way to slice mangoes. Forecasts were broadcast on WIN News in six regions around Queensland throughout the week.

Gluten-Free Life Magazine: Mango Feature

This week, a journalist from Delicious magazine visited Peter Marks of Ballongilly Farm on his farm in Katherine, NT, where he learnt about innovation in the mango industry including everything from objective quality testing and near-infrared scanning technology to newer mango varieties and current harvesting techniques.

We're also looking ahead to the annual Mango Mess-tival that takes place at Sydney's Bondi Beach on Sunday! Keep your eyes out on Channel 9's Today Show throughout Sunday morning for live weather crosses from the mango-eating competitions, smoothie bicycle, mango relay races, mango flower carving demonstrations, and the social media photo booth! There will also be some digital influencers in attendance, so you can expect some updates on Instagram in the following days.

The first 'Mango Madness' competition of the year kicked off on the Aussie Mangoes Facebook page, which has seen 651 mango-lovers comment with the hashtag #mangomadness in the hopes of winning a tray of mangoes!
