BRIC NS Event: Foundations in Patient-Oriented Research Curriculum

BRIC NS in collaboration with PHC NSHA have arranged for the Maritime SPOR Support Unit (MSSU) to offer the CIHR Foundations in Patient-Oriented Research curriculum to interested BRIC NS network partners.

The program is delivered to researchers, patients, clinicians, policymakers and healthcare decision makers to learn more about patient-oriented research and partnerships. The training is delivered with the principles of co-learning, meaning that patients, researchers, policy makers and decision makers come together for a richer learning experience for all.

There are three modules in total; however, the modules are stand-alone and may be taken in any order. A missed session may be taken during one of the MSSU's offerings to others.

Due to the time required to complete all modules we have spread the training over four sessions, all on a Friday. Space is limited. Please contact bricns@dal.ca by December 15th to reserve your spot.  You must register for each module individually.  A specific number of seats for Clinicians/Researchers/Learners, Patient Advisors, and Healthcare Policy/Decision Maker/System Administrators have been allocated.  Patient representatives are a must. Researchers are asked to encourage their patient research team members to attend.
