The winter festive season is fast approaching with many events including a Holiday Party, Horse Drawn Carriage Ride, Deck the Halls of Secord and Learn to Skate Program offered at the Secord rink. Learn about our playground committee formed for the new Secord school and how you can have coffee with local community cops.

Santa Social and Holiday Party
December 10, 2016 1pm to 4pm
Come join us for an afternoon of holiday fun at the Winterburn Golden Age Club, 21307 - 98 Ave.
Get your picture taken with Santa by our photographer (Santa arrives at 2:30pm), make crafts, and receive a special gift to ring in the holiday season!
Hop on the Horse-Drawn Carriage hosted by the Rob Smashnuk Real Estate Team.

Secord Snowbank Rink
Flooding of our rink is underway. We need colder weather and atleast another flood before it will be ready. Please check our Facebook page and website for rink updates.
A free, drop-in "Learn to Skate Program" will be offered by the City of Edmonton, January 15, 22 and 29, 2017 from 2:30pm to 5:30pm. Click here for program details.

Secord School Playground Committee
The new K-9 Secord school named, David Thomas King is scheduled to open September 2017. To follow developments on the school and attendance area boundary options please visit EPSB.
A committee for the playground has been formed to research grants, government funding and equipment expenses. If you are interested to join the playground committee, please contact Melody Wilson.

Coffee with the Cops
Our local McDonald's is hosting coffee with a cop information session on December 6th at 10:00am.
No agenda or speeches, just a chance to ask questions and get to know the officers in your neighbourhood. For more information, call 780-960-8367.
