The Weekly Catch
We hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving holiday with family, friends, football, and food! Laura and I enjoyed another rebel Thanksgiving and topped it off by going to a local frame shop to take advantage of their 70% off sale. We had a few prints lying around unframed, two from our friend Jonas Ignell, and two from our newly announced Hardy Fine Art collection. We are very pleased with the results.
As for Black Friday deals here at Vintage Fly Tackle, I went through our inventory and marked down many items that have been for sale for a while. So you may want to go through our rods, reels, and books to take advantage of reduced pricing. And please don't forget about our layaway program if you need to stretch out the payments.
As for the newly listed items and those listed as coming soon on our Latest Updates page, many of these items sell rather quickly and often before being listed, so don't hesitate to contact us asap if you see something you can't live without.
For those of you desiring to thin out your classic tackle collection, there's no better time nor place to consign your items than to us here at Vintage Fly Tackle. This week's featured item here at Vintage Fly Tackle is a great example of the tremendous hollow-built rods being made today. James Reid has a healthy waiting list and his rods rarely surface on the resale market. This one is 8'5" for a 4 weight line. Simply a fine fishing rod and in a ferruled format (most of James' rods feature spliced joints). Please contact us with questions or simply complete the purchase online.
