Family Fun Night
I would like to thank the parents and staff who put in a great deal of work to ensure the success of Family Fun Night last Thursday. It turned out to be a terrific night weather wise and the event went off really well.  Special thanks to Snappa's Catering for cooking up some beautiful food, Ashley Blake from the Mooroopna Gold Pro Shop, Kim from Playball Goulburn Valley & Leonie Balfour who all donated their time to make the night a success.
Extremely popular with the children were the Dinosaur Activities.  Thankyou to Larissa, Diane & Louisa who put so much effort in to organising the activities.
There were some amazing entries in the Critter Competition and the Mooroopna Idol contestants showed a great deal of talent. The inaugural Cake Auction saw some spectacular cakes up for auction and it's sure to be back next year.
Congratulations to our lucky raffle winners.
1st Charlie Nicholson
2nd Liz Young
3rd Tara Jones
The $4,000 profit from the night will go towards creating a new sand pit area.

Weekly eSmart Tip
Online Gambling:
Online gambling is a distinct and ever increasing form of online gaming. It comes in many forms, from lottery tickets and betting on sporting games and racing to card games like poker. There are many games and social media applications that look like gambling websites that ask you to pay money to play or access features.
You need to be aware that some online games are actually considered to be gambling sites and are designed to make money for the company providing the service, not the user. If your child is under the age of 18, gambling is an illegal activity whether it is played online or offline. It’s always best for a child to ask their parents or a trusted adult to check the game or website before they play or pay.
Remember: Gambling online is risky, and it can lead to trouble. Always read the terms and conditions of a website before paying to play a game online. Be aware that some game sites may look very similar to legitimate online gambling sites. Make sure they know what they are getting for their money if they do pay for games online.
