Top 5 Aha! Moments Recap

Last month I shared the Top 5 Student Discoveries at Country Rode in Fairport, NY. Here they are.

Road Rage !!!

Ever get pissed off at other drivers?  Of course you do!  It's human nature.  Read and share my latest Motorcycle Times article "Rider Road Rage" for some insight.

AMA Service Award

Track day courses are more than a one man show.  Assistants make the experience safer and more enjoyable for all.  Two excellent riders and close personal friends assisted me on the track this year. In recognition, I presented the Street Skills LLC 2016 American Motorcyclist Association Service Award to Paul Hendel and Dave Playfair.

Teaching a track course is so much fun.  Having your riding buddies there for support makes it even better. Thanks again, guys.

New York Safety Track in 2017

Planning for my 2017 Cornering Confidence course at NYST is underway.  I've requested a date and hope to announce it soon.  The private track day course will be capped at 20 riders.  Right now 10 have expressed interest. My goal is one course in 2017 unless demand is high enough to offer more.  Read track day reviews on my home page.

See updated course information and let me know if you plan on attending next summer if you haven't already.

Thankfulness

What a machine to be thankful for.  The motorcycle provides endless ways to enrich our lives.  A modern marvel so advanced, yet just about anyone can afford one.  Smart people who could build anything imaginable choose to produce and improve these anomalies.  There is no end to what can be accomplished on them by an individual, still they bring people together regardless of ability.

I linked this short video as a reminder of how lucky we are for having discovered them. Check it out...

To quote a philosopher...

"I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand."
