Over the next few newsletters, we're discussing the coolest guns from the brands under the Remington Custom Shop umbrella. We're kicking off the first stop on the Custom Shop express with some of the pieces available for order from the Remington line. Because each piece is custom, all prices are upon request.
Remington 700 North American // Available in stainless or blued, the 700 North American comes in a bedded Bell & Carlson stock in green, desert tan or black. Features also include a blueprinted action, fluted barrel with recessed hunter crown, 3 lb trigger, BDL trigger guard with hinged floorplate, and a factory guaranteed 1" grouping.
Remington 700 Custom C Grade // The 700 Custom "C" Grade features a high-polished blued action pillar bedded in an American walnut Monte Carlo style stock with cheek piece, rosewood forend tip & grip cap, laser cut checkering, and a satin finish. Specs include an adjustable trigger, rosewood plugged crossbolt, jewelled bolt, 1" buttpad, and a factory guaranteed 1" grouping.
Remington 700 Sendero // The 700 Custom Sendero sports a fully aluminum bedded McMillan stock with twin front swivel studs to accommodate a sling and bi-pod. Action is blueprinted, barrel is fluted, trigger is set at 3 lbs, and a factory guraranteed 1/2" grouping.
Remington Model Seven Custom // The compact, short-action Model Seven Custom's comes with a premium McMillan stock, 20" barrel, black Cerakoted metal finish, and blueprinted 700 style action.
Remington Model Seven Mannlicher // The compact Model Seven Mannlicher features a 20" custom shop barrel bedded in a satin-finished, full-length Mannlicher-style stock with straight comb, raised cheekpiece, and 20 LPI checkering on the forend & pistol grip. Metal sports a traditional deep polish blue and the forend is tipped with a steel cap.
Remington 40-XBBR Benchrest // The 40-XBBR blueprinted drilled & tapped action is bedded into a satin-finished American walnut stock and comes equipped with an externally adjustable 40-X trigger (1.5-3.5 lbs), a 27 1/4" stainless barrel with concave crown, and 1/2" black rubber pad.
Remington 40-X Tactical Deployment Rifle // Built on the 40-X action, the TDR comes equipped with a Bell & Carlson stock, blueprinted receiver, custom tuned 40-X trigger, 20 MOA picatinny rail, and tactical bolt knob. At the heart of the system is a stainless steel 24" barreled action that comes with a 1/2" 3-shot group guarantee at 100 yards.

One of our Service Shop clients upped his gift-giving game and surprised his wife with a personalized engraving on the floorplate of her favorite rifle. The engraving is a recreation of the photo taken right after she took a sable antelope in Africa. We honestly couldn't believe our eyes when presented with the finished product; the engraving is so intricate and detailed, our collective minds were blown.

Last week we picked up a pair of lightly used Rizzini shotguns and, after going over both with a fine-tooth comb, they're ready for a new home. Take a peek!
RIZZINI ARTEMIS LIGHT 16 ga // The Artemis Light features a Prince of Wales style walnut stock with a 1" brown leather pad (14" LOP) and a walnut forend with checkering & a push-button release. Barrels measure 28" in length and have a Bradley ivory front sight. The coin-finished receiver features a leafy scroll pattern with golden lions flanking a Rizzini scroll on the underside. The Artemis Light comes accessorized with five chokes -- improved cylinder, skeet, modified, improved modified and full -- and a set of mopped snap caps. Overall, the shotgun is in great shape physically (minor handling marks) as well as mechanically. $3299.99
RIZZINI AURUM LIGHT 12 ga // The Aurum Light sports a Prince of Wales style walnut stock with 1" black Pachmayr decelerator (14" LOP) and Schnabel walnut forend with checkering and push-release button. The coin-finished receiver features a leafy scroll pattern with golden inlaid pheasant & woodcock on either side and a Rizzini scroll on the underside. It comes accessorized with six Briley extended chokes -- improved cylinder, skeet, modified, improved modified, light modified and full -- as well as two Pro-Shot mopped snap caps. Overall, this gun is in great shape (minor handling marks) and shoots like a dream. $2399.99.
