Help wanted for chopping firewood and the lucky winners of the week's accommodation in Raro.

WE NEED YOUR HELP

The club has been lucky enough to get firewood wood for the next season for FREE again, however some effort is required by its members to chop and bag it.

The chop and bag session is being held on Saturday the 10th December in Sandspit which is very close to Matakana – it’s the perfect opportunity to head to the wonderful part of the world for breakfast and a walk around the Matakana Market, then head down the road and get chopping!

While the workers are getting the wood for the club, others are heading out fishing and will bring back some fish for a BBQ after – so work hard and full ya boots!

Anyone wanting firewood at market rates can bring a trailer and take some home all proceeds to Downhill Ski Club.

AND THE WINNER IS........

You might all remember Ross Sutherland had offered a weeks accommodation at Aremango Guesthouse, Muri on Rarotonga for two or the family membership that had the most bed nights at the top lodge!! After the Simpson family won it for spending the most time at the Ruapehu lodge this season, they offered it back to the club and we did a draw among members that attended the last working bees: And the winners are: Kylie, Tyler, Joshua and Markus Dipper!!! CONGRATULATIONS! That should help pass the time until the next skiing season.
