Israeli Automotive Industry
This month was full with events and interesting news, in the IoT world, in Israel and for me personally.
This month I gave 2 talks about IoT and wearables. One in front of the students of the Hebrew University Executive MBA program (held at the Microsoft Accelerator HQ) and one was at the "IoT on the Bar" event, hosted by Globes financial newspaper and Pelephone (Israeli mobile provider).
One of the subjects I talked about more than others was the automotive industry (which I talked about both in the last newsletter and the one before that. Magma VC created a great excel sheet that showed the size of the Israeli automotive industry. It made me curious so I counted the companies and divided them to categories, to understand the different verticals a bit better. What are the strongest verticals so far, which companies got acquired, click on the picture to read more
IoT on the Bar (Video)
Earlier this week I was talking, together with Oran Maron from Samsung about wearable technologies, trends, the impacts they have or will have on our lives and the industry. The event was a co-production of Globes financial newspaper and Pelephone. Read the article on Globes or watch on Youtube.
GetGrowth (Sponsored)
I've been using GetGrowth for about 2 months now. As a Twitter user for the past 9 years (Joined October 2007) I've seen a lot, tweeted a lot, shared a lot and generally been a happy tweep. I'm using it both for communicating with people and for publishing and distributing great news and media. Why I started using GetGrowth? Well, because I needed a tool that will help me with distribution of interesting content about IoT, automotive, energy and wearables, and that's what I'm getting from GetGrowth, a constant stream of great content, right to my followers to read, and I see lots of engagement, day in and day out, that's all I'm interested in.
