It's the Holiday season. Right now, I am in a 'Let's stop talking and start acting' mode. So my invitation to you for this month is to commit 'Acts of Consciousness'.
What do I mean with this? First of all, let me give you my definition of consciousness. It includes everything and judges nothing. So every place where you align / agree or resist / react to something, would you let that go? We don't need more of the same, we need different possibilities. Each one of you perceives different ones. That is the beauty and the gift each one of you is.
Acts of Consciousness, actions taken with awareness, create a kinder, gentler world than the one we have right now. So what could that mean? Here are some ideas, use them to come up with your own versions.
Tell someone that you are grateful for them
If you see someone struggling with their bags, ask if they would like some help.
Ask a question (especially open-ended ones)
Be aware of what works for you and be willing to state so.
No judgment
From how many different angles can you look at something and perceive its validity (not the right or wrong we tend to go to so quickly).
Expand, become spacious, be space.
Ask yourself: What can I do or be here that would create more, something different?
Leave a bigger tip than usual or customary.
Be kind to store employees. Express it in some way. (give them a smile or simply say thank you)
Perceive the multitude of possibilities in things.

Starting in January, this series of 5 meetings will look at what limits us in regards to the amount of money we can make. I have taught this workshop a few times with much success.
