There are still a few spaces available on our free forum which is taking place in Wells next Friday.
Barclays are coming along to offer top tips on creating a business plan that will help your organisation to prosper and grow and Jane Sharp from Mendip District Council will be talking to us about the upcoming launch of their new lottery which will benefit good causes in the Mendip area. Access For All and South Somerset District Council are holding their annual Aspirations and Challenges Meeting.
The event will feature an expert panel of speakers, focus on leisure for people with disabilities and explore 'how caring is the community?' It's taking place at the Gateway Centre, Yeovil on 19th January.

There are still spaces available on our training Session 'Budgets, Management Accounts and Cash Flow Forecasting' training session which is being hosted by the Charity Finance Group in Frome on 10th January.  It's aimed at people who work with the finances and money handling in a small charity or a small group.

National Energy Action are offering free awareness sessions to groups to provide information that will help people to save energy and money and have a warmer home, email Louise Evans for more information.
They are also offering free training to people who work with low-income and vulnerable individuals. Trainees will learn how to provide basic energy advice, email Tracey Norris for more information.

South Somerset District Council have meeting rooms and hot desk facilities available for hire by organisations and community groups at their Lime Room Work Hub at Churchfield.

This month we will see the official launch of the Legends of Somerset 2017 Calendar and the charity they've chosen to support this year is Heads Up. Calendars cost £10 and will be available from 5th December. You can buy them from Heads Up, The Swan Hotel, Wells and all good Wells newsagents. In the meantime, head over to the Legends of Somerset Facebook page for a cheeky preview!

There's a great opportunity to join the Community Transport South Somerset team.
They are in need of an office administrator to support their busy, friendly office. Excellent organisational skills are essential as well as good communication skills and a caring attitude towards their clients.
