Today, we have taken steps towards creating a health-care legacy for the next 100 years.
The Ottawa Hospital is looking forward to building its modern new Civic Campus on the nearby reconfigured Sir John Carling site. We are thrilled about this new phase in our hospital’s history, and are very grateful to our community leaders who came together to find a solution.
It’s not hard to imagine Mayor Harold Fisher’s anticipation when he cut the ribbon on the new Civic Hospital in 1924. We have the same excitement and anticipation about building a new Civic Campus to provide the citizens of Ottawa and eastern Ontario with world-class health care into the 22nd century. We look forward to keeping you informed and engaged as we rally the community in support of the new Civic Campus.

Aujourd’hui, nous avons pris des mesures pour la création d’un héritage de soins de santé pour les 100 prochaines années.
L’Hôpital d’Ottawa est impatient de bâtir son nouveau Campus Civic sur le terrain reconfiguré de l’édifice Sir-John-Carling. Nous sommes enthousiasmés par cette nouvelle étape de l’histoire de l’Hôpital et sommes très reconnaissants envers les dirigeants communautaires qui se sont réunis pour trouver une solution.
Nous imaginons aisément l’enchantement du maire Harold Fisher, en 1924, lorsqu’il a coupé le ruban du nouvel Hôpital Civic. Nous partageons cet enchantement à l’égard de la construction du nouveau Campus Civic, qui fournira aux citoyens d’Ottawa et de l’est de l’Ontario des soins de calibre mondial jusqu’au 22e siècle. Nous sommes impatients de vous tenir informés et engagés, tandis que nous mobilisons la collectivité afin d’appuyer le nouveau Campus Civic.
