  • December 2 @ 3:30PM: Game Day. Join us as we explore various abstract strategy games, those requiring no chance or physical skill. Old favorites such as chess, checkers, and dominoes will be on hand, as well as less common strategy games which are just as mentally stimulating if not as well known.
  • December 9 @ 3:30PM: As Seen Through These Eyes narrated by Maya Angelou.  A film exploring how WWII concentration camp victims, many of whom were children, used art as an expressive outlet for hope and despair, and as a means to endure harrowing circumstances.
  • December 16 @ 3:30PM: Craft Day. Warmer weather may be a fading memory, but we can bring spring into our windowsills and kitchens with these "Mason Jar Herb Gardens." Materials will be available for anyone wishing to participate, but feel free to get creative and bring your own jars for a unique look: used Mason or Kerr, empty glass pickle or mayonnaise jars would all work marvelously.  Don't use herbs? No problem! This project is multi-functional and can be used as vases, candle holders, or to house decorative plants instead.
