VOTE FOR THE IBF LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE LOCATION SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER 2018

Dear National Secretary,

We have had offers from the French and Finnish Societies to host this conference and the Council needs to choose which country should go forward. Please note that the hosting country is not involved in the content of the conference, only the venue. The content is decided by the leadership task force on which the hosting country has a representative.

The Finnish Society proposes to hold the conference in Eastern Helsinki at the Cultural Centre Sofia  http://sofia.fi/en/home/ . The all-inclusive fee for the conference from Friday afternoon to Sunday lunchtime is expected to be about 400 Euros per delegate. Please note that this is an approximate estimate.

The French Society proposes to hold the conference in Angers, a beautiful city in the Loire region about 300km south west of Paris. They propose the Loire & Sens hotel http://www.loireetsens.com/fr/ . Costs will vary depending on the type of bedroom but will average about the same as for Helsinki. Please note that this is an approximate estimate.
