Come Talk to City Departments

On December 13th, City staff from many departments will be at Ravenna Community Center to answer questions and to hear comments about land use, transportation, parks and other topics important to D4 residents. The Office of Planning and Community Development will be there to talk with folks about Mandatory Housing Affordability and proposed zoning changes.

If you haven’t seen it already, check out the new interactive, city-wide map of proposed changes here.

University District Food Bank Volunteering

We had a great time volunteering in the University District Food Bank's brand new space. With over 54,000 customer visits and 2.3 million pounds of food distributed a year, University District Food Bank is consistently one of the busiest food banks in the City of Seattle. Learn more about University District Food Bank, here.

And don't forget: we are collecting donations for University District Food Bank at our booth at the U District Farmers Market on the 10th and 17th. For more information on our district hours, click here
