Charitable tax receipts
If you made a gift-in-kind donation to Regina Cat Rescue in 2016, please submit your receipt(s) along with the gift-in-kind form available at our website as soon as possible. 2016 charitable tax receipts for donations received before Dec. 31, 2016 will be issued by the end of February 2017. Please view this letter from the RCR treasurer for more information, and thanks for your support!

Spay & neuter sponsorships needed
So far in 2016, RCR has rescued over 440 cats - far surpassing our record of 396 rescued cats in 2014 and up from 380 rescues in 2015. We're glad we're able to help so many cats in need, but this increase means more funds are needed to help us pay for spay and neuter surgeries. Please consider sponsoring the spay or neuter of a cat or kitten as a gift this holiday season.

Our holiday wish list
It’s that special time of year, and Regina Cat Rescue has a little wish list of our own. We need a number of items to help keep our foster and community cats in comfort and joy. Of particular need is canned cat food, small heated dishes, 25'-50' outdoor extension cords, new scratching pads and clumping, unscented litter. Check out our entire wish list here. December's Metro Cat
Thanks to Metro Pet Market for Spaying it Forward! This month, Metro paid for Pumpkin's spay surgery as part of their on-going mission to foster responsible pet guardianship. Pumpkin was found covered in oil and being kicked around by a cruel person before a kind witness intervened. Now Pumpkin is safe in RCR's care, has been spayed and is ready for her forever home! Forever homes found. A total of 22 cats found their forever homes in November.
In Good Taste wrap up. A big thanks to all those who ordered IGT through RCR. Together we raised enough to sterilize eight cats. Don't forget, orders are available for pick up from 1:30 - 7 p.m. on Dec. 2 at 3601 Green Creek Road, Regina, SK.
2017 RCR calendars. Remember to get your 2017 RCR calendar featuring tame and community cats in our care. Calendars are $20 each and available at multiple locations around the city, and they make great gifts!
