Behind AEGEE
Turkey
AEGEE-Europe is joining forces with other European organisations to fight for human rights and democratic practices in Turkey. During difficult times, the values and voice of our organisation need to be stronger than ever to support not only our local activities, but also policy-making in Turkey. Among the latest developments, the  Turkish government proposed a bill that would allow prisoners convicted of rape to be released in case they marry their victims.
