Lost & Found Donation Day this Friday
All the clothes that have been in the lost of found for the month of October will be donated at the end of the day on Friday, December 2nd. Please take a moment to go through the lost and found before this Friday to claim anything that might belong to your child(ren)!

Student Pick-up Reminder
Just a reminder that students in grades 1-8 are to be picked up in the back of the school. Students are not to wait in the front of the school because there is no supervision there during pick-up time. Please also keep in mind that even though students are released at a certain time, it does take them a few minutes to walk to the pick-up area. If you arrive early or do not see your child yet, please proceed to park in the designated spots to avoid congestion in the pick-up line. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Parent Handwork Group –Needle Felting This December
Please join us in learning the art of needle-felting paintings to make lovely ornaments. Fridays in the SunRidge Handwork Room, 8:30 - 10:30am.
Library
We are delighted and grateful to be the recipient of a grant from the SunRidge Educational Foundation for our library.  The foundation granted us funding that will cover upgrading a computer to access the newer software that the Sonoma County Office of Education Library Services will be installing at the beginning of January.  Since our services are directly linked to theirs, this is welcome news.

The foundation also granted money towards the purchase of a new carpet to grace the section that will be set up specifically for K - 2nd grade students, whom we hope to welcome into the library at the beginning of January.  Lastly, it will help to purchase miscellaneous supplies that we need to get our books into the system and onto the shelves.  A big thank you to the foundation for supporting our evolving library with this generous donation!

We continue to meet every Thursday to input books and shelve them if you care to join us in our efforts. Come by tomorrow anytime between 8:30 and 11:00.  We'd appreciate your help!  Need more information? Email Dianne at diannenamkung@gmail.com.

2. More book ends
3. New or almost new, ideally hardbound books in these areas or with these titles: basketball, soccer, fishing, cycling, archery Land of Stories (series 1 - 5) by Chris Colfer and Ranger's Apprentice (series 1 - 12) by John Flanagan.
Homework Support –New Schedule Starting In January

Gratitude for the Kitchen Transformation
We wish to send out a warm thank you to Brandy Rucker and Kari Snyder. These two have teamed up and are keeping the dream of giving our children and our community a place to make and share food. They have helped do the dirty work, and now have a list of needs and wishes. They have also created some expectations and rules of conduct that will help guide us in our kitchen use. They will need help to keep the kitchen up to standards and the doors open. You can find out more, sign up, or share by looking at the lists they created in the kitchen itself. The door is open, please do pop in and see. We are so excited to start filling the hallways with warm smells from the oven, fresh crisp smells of cut vegetables, and aromatic spices! Feel free to contact Brandy as the Lead Parent in the kitchen with any questions or supportive thoughts at barefootwithbrandy@gmail.com.
Please No Dogs on Campus
We love dogs AND yet they are not welcome at school. It’s a health code violation and a safety hazard. Please leave dogs at home or in the car when on campus for the well-being of all. Thank you for your cooperation!

SunRidge Family Looking for Housing
A family of 5 that tells Norwegian troll tales and often makes music as FAUN FABLES is looking for housing! Around the bend, through the trees, up the lane, do you know of a forgotten grandma house, a funky barn, a beguiling shack, a-once general store with our name on it? Is there a puzzling structure on your family property that our carpentry/handyman skills could emancipate into a cozy home? Let us know. We bring a full gamut of handyman skills (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting), kitchen wisdom, good house organizing & housekeeping, plus as much music, folk crafts, gathering, conversation, time-out-of-time, family joy and seasonal living as you can stomach.

We are also looking for work. Our collective skill set:
All handyman work (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting.)
Theater & Music workshops with youth
Housecleaning
House organizing/clutter management
Doll/Toy Making & Design (clay, molds, castings, tooling patterns)
Illustration (2D)
Metal antiquing (patina, texture)
Stained Glass & Art restoration
Personal Assistant work

For any information on possible jobs or housing, please write to Dawn & Nils at faun.fables.info@gmail.com  (11/30)
