Enzo’s Christmas

Charitable Book Donations

Independent bookstores across the country are working with Garth to buy copies of Enzo and the Christmas Tree Hunt! and donate them to kids in need. Ask your local bookstore if they’re hosting a charity book drive. Maybe you can contribute or suggest they check out the Enzo Donation program at EnzoKidz.com/DonateBooks. ‘Tis the season to give and we know these kids appreciate it!

Gets a Wintery Facelift

The Enzo Kidz website saw a wintery redesign last month, including the introduction of fun new holiday coloring sheets, games, and puzzles. (We’re still trying to solve this crossword puzzle.) Take a look at the special resources developed for parents, teachers, and librarians, and bookstores, including these handy Reading Guides!

On the Road

It was a busy fall for Garth through America’s south! He spoke at several Common Reads events in Georgia and Alabama. Late October featured a stop at the Fort Worth Library, and then over to the west coast for a keynote appearance at the Writer’s Digest National Novel Writing Conference in Los Angeles.

Garth Stein and “me.”

While in Alabama, Garth visited a local elementary school and the kids followed up with a flurry of fun illustrations, many of which feature uncanny portraits of Garth! Special thanks to the kids at Cullman City Primary School for sharing their amazing creative talents!

Spring’s looking pretty busy! Keep an eye on Garth’s event calendar for more details!

Enzo’s Halloween Photos!

We had a lot of fun talking with Enzo fans and bookstores about the new kid’s book from Garth: Enzo’s Very Scary Halloween. Check out these highlights!

We asked Garth’s Facebook fans to submit photos of their little Enzos for Halloween. This shot of Bailey, courtesy of Melissa Bryner Mark, is strikingly similar to the Canadian cover of The Art of Racing in the Rain! (I think Bailey has something to say — if only she could speak!)

Trick-or-treaters at Byrd’s Books’ Halloween shindig flaunt some of the Enzo swag highlighting Enzo’s Very Scary Halloween, the third in the Enzo Kidz series.
