World Tree of Hope
Come and support the Orlando Pulse survivors at San Francisco City Hall on Dec. 7

Rainbow World Fund (RWF) invites you to the 11th Annual RWF World Tree of Hope Official Tree Lighting Celebration.
This year's tree is being dedicated the the victims and survivors of the Orlando Pulse nightclub shooting. Meet survivors Ilka Reyes and Martha & Daniel Alvears.
A concert by the Grammy winning San Francisco Boys Chorus ● Emcees Cheryl Jennings and Donna Sachet ● Orlando Pulse night club survivors Ilka Reyes and Mayra Alvear will speak and light tree ● Mayor Ed Lee and Consul General of Jun Yamada will exchange peace cranes● Interfaith Consul Director Michael Pappas will lead a healing ritual ● Rev. Debra Johnson ● Cast of The Lion King ●The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence will bless the tree   Veronica Klaus and Tammy Hall with perform ● and much more!

The RWF World Tree of Hope is a holiday tree decorated with thousands of white origami cranes, each containing written notes of hope & peace from children and individuals from around the world. The tree is a gift from members of the LGBT community to the world - given to inspire hope and promote peace, love and humanitarianism. 

Be part of this unique symbol of global unity! Send us your wish, we'll turn it into an origami crane and put it on The World Tree of Hope: http://www.worldtreeofhope.org/

Santa Skivvies Run - December 11th @11am, at the LOOKOUT (Market & Noe). The Santa Skivvies Run is one of San Francisco's most famous runs. It is a festive romp through the Castro benefitting the San Francisco AIDS Foundation. 

Squareoling -  Join the Western Star dancers for Square Dancing to holiday songs. December 18th, meet in Jane Warner Plaza at 12pm. We’ll be strolling to various places to dance in public. Be sure to wear your best holiday fashion! 

Menorah Lighting - December 28th at 6 pm Congregation Shar'ar Zahav will be holding a Menorah lighting in the Jane Warner Plaza at 6 pm. People are encouraged to bring your own menorah and participate in the lighting of the candles.
