Is it really December already?!
We hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and are enjoying the holiday season. Thank you to all of you who came out and supported us on Small Business Saturday! It was a great day!
As the winter holidays approach, please note that we will be closed for a few days later in the month.
Take a break from any holiday stress and wrap up your WIPs with us!

No official Knit-A-Long this month, because we know you already have enough on your fiber plate.

Bring your Works in Progress and get some winter knitting done :)
If you don't have any WIPs or don't mind having one more, consider working on the Project Peace cowl Knit-A-Long from thehealthyknitter.com!
Designer Christina Campbell came up with this wonderful concept. The end result will be a simple knit cowl in a soothing stitch pattern with a 4 row repeat.
Each day Christina will publish a peaceful tip to meditate on as you knit one repeat. We will be following along here at Revival Yarns and hope you will join us. For more information you can see Christina's blog www.thehealthyknitter.com or go to the Project Peace Ravelry Page.

"But I don't knit", you say? A great crochet option for all skill levels is the I Heart Granny Cowl!
First Friday is December 2nd!
Please join us for a special Unity Night and Fundraiser event! For complete details please follow the UNITY NIGHT link.

To summarize:
1) Let's work some "love stitches" into our community by supporting an important local resource! We will be accepting donations (both cash and credit) for The Cottage. The Cottage raises awareness and facilitates the healing of individuals, families and communities affected by sexual violence and child abuse in Clarke and neighboring counties. They are a non-profit organization and always in need of donations (tax-deductible). Please consider donating a small amount during our special First Friday Unity night. If you cannot attend, but would still like to donate, you can do so on their website northgeorgiacottage.org.

2) As we wrap up 2016, we invite you to join our collaborative project that will be put on display at Revival Yarns. This piece will be a reminder of the greatness that is the sum of our parts, as we move into a new year. What is it exactly? A free form piece, both knit and crocheted, using different fibers, colors, weights and gauges. We want you to be able to walk into the shop, look up at this piece, see your stitches and know that you are part of a community. We hope each of you can contribute by knitting or crocheting a row or two in this ongoing project. We will have yarn available here, but if you have something at home that you feel like represents you please bring that to add to our unity project. We look forward to seeing how this free form piece takes shape!

3)It is First Friday open knit/crochet after all, so bring your knitting or crochet projects to work on, or just come to chat :)

Light fare will be provided.
We look forward to this positive time of togetherness with you all.

Happiest of Holidays!
