The Elves are coming…..Nelson City Xmas Delight

This Xmas will be extra special on the streets and in the your shops of Nelson City…...just for you and the kids.
Two very delightful and enthusiastic Xmas Elves will add that little bit extra Xmas cheer. Amy Elf and Hannah Elf will be roaming the Nelson City streets with thousands of tasty cherries from Eden Orchards for you to indulge. Plus there will be singing, flute playing to delight and attract as well as face painting around the city from 1.00pm to 2.00pm Monday to Friday over the next 3 weeks so if you spot them, be quick.
A very special part of this Nelson City Xmas delight is “Where’s Lord Nelson”
Those naughty Elves will be popping up around the City with Lord Nelson himself (a colourful puppet) and it could be in a shop or restaurant. All you have to do is have your photo taken, post it on social media to share your Xmas joy plus like us on Facebook and go in to a draw to win a $500 shopping voucher that can be spent in any Nelson City store.
It all sleighs off with the Santa Parade on Sunday the 4th December and then Monday to Friday thereafter till the Elves depart for the North Pole on 24th December.

The wonderful Nelson Bays Harmony Chorus will be on the Nelson City Streets again for Xmas. Your favourite Xmas songs and carols from old and new are here to delight, listen too or sing along. Watch out for the Elves thou, they will not be far away with their musical instruments!!!

The big man is coming to Nelson

Nelson’s annual Santa Parade and Carnival is back with all your favourite Xmas floats, giveaways and the BIG man himself, starts 1.00pm this Sunday on Trafalgar Street.
Plus those Elves will be there is delight the littles ones and amuse the bigger ones. See you all there.
