Let Go- of past experiences influencing future choices

Love- who you are even your uniquenesses

Dream Big- believing in your own ability to succeed.

The theme for this year's newsletters are about letting go, lovng yourself and dreaming big. I am going to share with you the lessons that have revealed themself working with the horses and people over the month, as well as my own lessons that I have learnt from life.

We have started to theme the post we put on our facebook page, looking at differet types of disabilities as we continue to change the conversation into one of celebration. Each month we are including an article of someone's experience with the horses and how it's helped them see their disability/ obstacle in a different way, which you will find at the bottom of this email.
Free yourself with forgiveness

Growing up, the majority of people are taught to forgive others for their actions and mistakes, no matter how harsh they have been.

But it doesn't seem to be as common to look in the mirror and forgive the person looking back at you.

One reason the horses are so incredible is they are a mirror and they do not hold your mistakes or emotional outbursts against you, in the next moment they have already forgiven you, for me this is one of the reasons they are so peaceful.

So what would it take for you to forgive yourself? To let yourself off the hook and believe in a second chance tomorrow of getting closer to what you feel is right.

They say freedom is in forgiveness, as you are no longer tied to your past decisions and choices allowing you to be free to make new and maybe different choices in the future
Adversity to action

So you have been walking around with your eyes closed and fingers in your ears, while life is waving a big flag warning adversity is on its way.

And just like a ship hitting an iceberg you are flung forward, eyes now wide open and hearing everything. Then you scurry around taking action.

We can not always stop adversity but we can prepare for it and have a back up plan. 9 times out of 10 ignoring it doesn't always yield the best results.

Life also generally doesn't just slap you with adversity normally it builds and there are clues (I.e feeling uncomfortable about something or sticking your head in the sand).

Take a moment to do a check
do I have any areas of my life that I am avoiding?
is there anything that's uncomfortable?
am I doing everything other than the action I should be taking?

Then take action, steer the ship away from the ice berg avoid sabotaging your effects and going back to square one.

Ps the reason for the iceberg metaphor is because as I write this I am in the stable yard and it's bloody cold lol

Stress to success

Following our theme for the month, we can very easily get bogged down with all the things we have to get done.

Even when we are sitting still our mind is like a race track of thoughts going a hundred miles an hour.

Yet Mac has shown through his gentle pace of life that there is no rush, no need to panic or go through the alpherbet creating a worse case scenario plan for every letter.

Instead do what you can with today, with what you have right now. Of course have a plan on where your heading but don't hobble yourself with worries along the way.

Spring cleaning in autumn.

I know it sounds a bit odd but as winter nears and is the season of evaluation, you first have to take a moment to get all the facts.

So taking the time to put the 7 areas of your life in check before winter time arrives:
1. Financial
2. Social
3. Family
4. Physical
5. Mental
6. Vocation
7. Spiritual/ philosophy

Where to start? Here's a clue- which one is stressing you out the most? that's the one I suggest you have a good spring clean of and take control of it instead of it controlling you. Get rid of the rubbish, polish the hidden gems, create space for new opportunities and most of all for you to be able to act on those chances presented each day.

So we have 7 days of the week, pick an area each day, give it a good clean up and this time next week I would say you will be feeling like your onto a winner.
Pretend, practice and persevere

Pretend- that you are that person, the one you are discovering and learning to love. Because at some point you will no longer feel like you are pretending as you have become that person (children are experts at this)

Practice- that is what creates a master through practice, repeating it until you have perfected it. Practice the new habits over and over again until they are interwoven so deeply into your life.

Persevere- a trait that will serve you well is never giving up on yourself, you do deserve to be, do and have what you dream and yes you can and will succeed if you keep persevering.
Acceptance of the insight and guidance from within

A lot of us have those gut feelings maybe intuitive thoughts about what we need to do, areas we need to change, and action we need to take.

However a lot of us don't follow those feelings through fear, thinking what we will receive when we follow that advice is going to be something worse.

That is your imagination talking- the world will end if you follow your heart and your dreams.

Well I'm hear to say when you let go, love and dream, what is waiting on the other side of those changes isn't something worse, it's something incredible, beautiful and inspiring!

So never be afraid to follow your intuition it normally works out, through following that guidance you reach your goals a lot quicker and a with a lot more ease.
