Family and Friends,
Greetings from the USA! We arrived "home" on November 16th after forty hours of travel. Admittedly, these globe trotting jaunts aren't as easy for us as they used to be, but we're so glad to be back on US soil. In the last two weeks we've been in PA and NC, this week in SC to meet with potential volunteers at Columbia International University. Next week we'll be back in NC to spend some time with our daughter, then winging across the states to California. As you can guess, we're getting really good at packing and lugging our baggage around!
Our visit to Fleetwood School District (PA), included sharing at the middle school. These students are learning  about African drumming and wanted to hear about life in Kenya. It was a great experience to answer their questions - and be treated to a drum concert!
Our travels will take us from the east coast to the west coast and back again. If you'd like to schedule a visit with us please let us know!

Beautiful Thanksgiving holiday spent along the North Carolina coast to visit Mark's sister and her family.

This week's time at Columbia International University has been a time of personal encouragement and vision expansion. We came here hoping to connect with and recruit teachers and volunteers for our ministry. Small seeds have been planted and we hope the relationships we've developed will grow and deepen. CIU has an incredible MA program for educators that seems like a perfect fit with our ministry. Our prayer is that graduate students will be interested in doing an internship or ministry term with us in the future.
Surprise visit to UNC Hospital to see our daughter, Kimberly, at her nursing job!
Our time at our home church in Fleetwood, PA filled us with His presence!
Please pray that God will make us aware of those with a passion for international ministry, especially in the realm of education. We're finding that the needs of our ministry are a bit specialized, combining teaching with a strong biblical emphasis. The need for partners in ministry is great - since we are only two we can't get around to all the schools interested in learning about how to teach from God's perspective. PRAY for workers as this harvest field is READY!
Our display in the Student Center at Columbia International University. CIU has been a great place to network with professors in the education department. We've also been able to encourage and pray with students entering international ministry.

We hope to connect with many of you while we're around. The times of connection in PA and NC were great and we look forward to what's ahead when we arrive in California!
As always, we remain grateful and humbled by the sacrificial giving and prayers lavished upon us.
