PUNCTUALITY AND PERSONAL APPEARANCE: BASICS FOR SUCCESS AT ACP
Dear ACP Colleagues:

As ACP CEO Mario Paredes said during his talk with employees on Friday, November 18, the ACP Handbook – which every employee receives upon hire – is the authoritative resource for understanding and complying with ACP policy and procedures. A few important reminders:

Punctuality
As described in Sections 12 (Attendance), 13 (Reporting Late or Leaving Early), and 14 (Timekeeping), employees are expected to be punctual, at their desks and ready to work when their shift begins. If you’re delayed, contact your supervisor immediately. All employees are expected to track their work hours through the online ADP application.

Severe Weather
As we approach winter, employees are reminded that they should make reasonable efforts to report to work despite adverse weather conditions. In the event of bad weather, check your ACP email for a message or call 646-931-5624 to determine if the office will be open. When in doubt, contact your supervisor.

Personal Appearance is addressed in Section 21 of the ACP Employee Handbook:

“As an employee, you are a representative of ACP. People get an impression about ACP from your appearance as well as your conduct. The nature of your job requires cleanliness and neatness.

You are expected to maintain a clean, well-groomed appearance, report to work in appropriate clothing, and present yourself in a professional manner at all times. Athletic wear, sneakers, flip flops, shorts, tight fitting and/or inappropriately revealing clothing is not permitted.”

It is important that ACP employees and contractors dress appropriately at work, in meetings, and when visiting our providers and partners. While ACP strives to create an informal and welcoming work environment, we ask employees to be mindful of attire that is too casual, sloppy or unprofessional.

Neat, professional business attire is expected Monday through Thursday. On Friday, business casual attire is permitted, including jeans (without wrinkles, holes, frays, etc.). All clothing must be clean and in good repair. Athletic clothing such as sweatshirts, tights, and caps is not appropriate.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
