If you've been to this popular Grove women's gathering before, you know how amazing it is. If you have not yet attended, mark your calendars & come see for yourself why it is the perfect balance of conversation & community, depth & whimsy, & strategic themes for targeted transformation.  Meets the 1st Saturday of each month   /  Led by Rebecca Hart.

This Sunday during First Hour,  join us for a congregational Advent Art Project.
We'll pray, fellowship, & paint together to make something beautiful for the Grove.

Sunday  /  9:00am - 9:50am
The Roots Youth Ministry is well into its
First Hour series called:
 #Stretch: You Won't Break
Bring your youth this week to learn about the importance of identifying
and separating the Godly pressures from the Ungodly pressures in their lives.

Sunday /  9:00am-9:50am  /  Roots Youth Room

This Sunday we're gathering for the second Sunday of Advent &
the second installment of our worship series:
'I Will Sing Unafraid.'

This week we explore this vision of the prophet Isaiah,
the words Jesus selected for his very first sermon.

We believe that Jesus is God's fulfillment of these words, which is why, no matter what is happening in the world around us, we can sing, without fear, of God's goodness and power.  If the world has you feeling overwhelmed, depressed & frightened, this message is especially for you.

See you for worship & community 10:00am

THESE
TWO
IMPORTANT
NOTES
A Note
From The Budget Committee.

Please turn in your pledge cards this week so that the committee can promptly begin our work for 2017.
If you took a music note to decorate for our outdoor Advent art project, please bring it to the fellowship hall on Sunday. If you didn't get one there will be extras for folks to take home this week.

One of our most beloved traditions at the Grove is our Christmas Cantata. This is an amazing way to bless the church & keep your spirit focused on Christ this holiday season. As always, you are invited to add your voice.  If you normally don't sing in worship, you are especially welcome.   Your voice matters. If you're in, contact Dan Williams.

We'll practice three times:
Wed, Dec 7th from 7-8 /  Wed, Dec 14th from 7-8  /  Sat, Dec 17th from 9-12
