"Family Book Club"
Little Pilgrim's Progress by Helen Taylor
( The book is a simple adventure story and a profound allegory of the Christian journey through life, a delightful read with a message kids ages 6 to 12 can understand and remember).
Fantastic book to read aloud or read together as a family.
Please let Julie Best know if you and your family would be interested in joining a low involvement "Family GCPC Bookclub" starting this January. Due to the busy lives of everyone we will do the majority of the bookclub at home with our own families, but we will plan on at least 2 times to meet as families and talk about the book. Midway through the book we will have a lunch and families can bring something about the book to share: picture/drawing, something that stood out, interesting fact, lego creation, etc.
At this point all Julie needs to know is if you are interested and then an online group will be set up where families can post information about the book. Julie will use this as a place to post questions families can discuss.
For families interested Julie has 2 copies of Little Pilgrim's Progress available for $8 each. You can also purchase your own here. The book can currently be purchased at Amazon for $8.50.
