Swami Shraddhamritaji's Visit to Canberra

  Swamiji visited Canberra again 19-20 November. He conducted the Durga Puja on Saturday 19th November at Pearce Community Center. The audience was mesmerized by this unique Kerala style worship of the Divine. Swamiji mentally chanted mantras and used many hand gestures (mudras) to evoke the Divine. Kirtans were sung in the background which helped us focus our mind to the ritual. The ritual definitely made our mind very quiet and focused, and we felt the presence of the Divine within ourselves. It was certainly an experience that many of us wish to have more in our lives.      

  Swamiji also conducted a spiritual talk "Rediscover yourself: a meditative exploration" on Sunday 20th November at InSync Body and Mind. He talked about meditative experiences depicted in the Patanjali Yoga Sutra and the importance of having a Satguru like Amma as a guide for our spiritual growth. We cannot wait to organize and attend his programs again next year! Many thanks to the many volunteers that helped to make Swamiji's tour a success.
