Lost Legends  - Callout
Saturday 11 February 2017
12pm – 3.00pm
African Caribbean Centre
FREE
2017 is the 30th Anniversary of BHM and we want to hear from you.  We want to reshape the future ensuring that the contribution from Leicester Black community is reflected and your stories as well as any memorabilia relating to BHM is essential. We are already seeking missing brochure but its more than that, it is galvanising a community, sharing a story of an event, remembering venues, places and organisations that no longer exist that had an integral part in the history of BHM, Spectrum, Leicester African Caribbean Citizens Forum, Raddles Bookshop etc.

So come along and share your memories and get involved in refocusing history so it includes the contribution of Leicester's Black community. The Callout will showcase some of the archive materials we have collected so far as well as photographs and if you would like the chance to help the Serendipity team identify and put names to faces, then you are very welcome and we will put the kettle on!
