As usual you get a free downloadable print at the end of the letter, and since it is Christmas time you'll get TWO. One is a useful one to keep track of the days before New Years and the other is a lettering you can color. Hope you like them!

Grundkurs / Beginners level - Saturday 21st of January, at 10.00 - 15.00
Fortsättningskurs / Intermediate level - Saturday 11th of February, at 10.00-15.00
Beginners level in English - Sunday 12th of February, at 10.00-15.00

I am really happy to announce my collaboration with Angelica Lucaci of Hejnum. We will co-host a Pattern & Lettering Workshop in March 2017. Below info about the workshop in both Swedish and English.
[SWE] Under vår Mönster&Lettering Workshop lämnar vi den digitala världen för att återupptäcka konsten att för hand rita bokstäver, ord och mönster med penna på papper. Efter workshopen kommer du att kunna planera och skissa olika stilar, samt kunna kombinera bokstavsillustrationer med mönsterillustrationer, såsom anfanger, namntavlor, citat m.m. Inga förkunskaper eller tidigare erfarenheter krävs, men kursen ger nya tankar och idéer även om du är inbiten mönsterteckare eller typograf.
Sofie hjälper till att utforska olika stilar och skapa bokstavsformer som vi sedan kan rita mönster inuti eller runtomkring. Angelica tränar oss i att skapa egna mönster och guidar i konsten att hitta mönster-inspiration.

[ENG] In our Pattern&Lettering Workshop we will leave the digital world and explore the art of hand drawing letters, words and patterns with pen on paper. After the workshop you will be able to plan and sketch different styles as well as combine lettering with pattern design in initials, name letterings, quotes and more. No experience required, but if you are a pattern designer or typographer you may find new inspiration and ideas.
Sofie Björkgren-Näse of Fia Lotta Jansson Design is leading you in lettering and Angelica Lucaci of Hejnum will inspire in creating patterns.

#LetterArtChallenge is a weekly creative inpiration project on Instagram started by Tze Ching Yeung of Jake and Maya Kids and Kathy Hutton and me. Together with several other bloggers and creators we want to inspire you to create and share the inspiration with others. The challenge is open to all ages, all artistic abilities and all mediums. You can either use a letter template, designed by me, or chose to create something totally new!

This download is the last of this year and also the last month in the Typografikalender 2016 (Typographic Calendar 2016). Now you can keep track of your days before New Years in style! Hope you use the calendar sheet and hang it on your fridge, above your desk or in the children's room so they can count down the days to their most important day of December.The calendar for 2017 is now up in my shop if you like to continue using it! The Typografikalender 2016 (yes, it is in Swedish, but great typography is a univeral language!) contains of 12 separate sheets to use in the way you wish, at home or at work.
