All Our Kitties
Wish To Thank Our Supporters For Keeping Us Toasty Warm and Safe

Thanks so much for keeping our kitties safe and out of harm's way while awaiting their forever homes. With your generous financial support, we have been able to rescue many cats and kittens out of bad situations and into our organization, tend to their needs, and adopt them into loving permanent homes. Your financial support let us spay-neuter even more through our TNR program, preventing unwanted feral kittens being born into a hopeless life in the wild or on the unforgiveable streets. Your compassion has let us meet the ever increasing need of helping homeless kitties and we hope you will continue your generous support in the future. So many more are depending upon our help! Purrs!

Barn Cats Available! We Do Mousing!

Barn Homes Needed for our very shy but not aggressive kitties who have nowhere else to go. Spayed/Neutered and vaccinated. If you have a cozy barn or warm stable for one or two of our kitties, please call 914-428-7969 or email forgottenfelinesny@gmail.com

Forgotten Felines Emergency Medical Fund

Before our cats/kittens can move to their forever homes, they need to be tested for feline leukemia/aids, spayed/neutered, vaccinated and treated for any illness or condition they may come in with. There are also those that need extra veterinary assistance or are "under the weather", such as our older foster cats. Many of these require much needed dental care so they can eat without pain and avoid kidney damage. Please open your hearts this holiday season by sending a tax-deductible donation to:

Heartwarming Tale - Shamus!

From his adoptive mom...

Shamus started his life abandoned and alone. He was found dirty, emaciated, starving and in general poor health.

A Forgotten Felines volunteer rescued him, took him in for medical care and nursed him back to health. It took awhile but this straggly, skinny kitten got well and turned into a beautiful long haired white fur ball that was full of energy and mischief! I worked at the animal hospital where he received his care and was so fortunate to have the opportunity to adopt him. His antics never failed to amuse us...especially when we'd come home to find he had opened all the bottom drawers of our dressers and pulled out socks and mittens and scarves! Once we even found he had opened a drawer, crawled up to a higher one and then curled up and took a nap! You should have seen my husband's face when he found him snuggled up in his sweater!

This sweet kitty who overcame such a rough start in life has given us many years of purrs and is now 19 years old! Although it is somewhat harder for him to get around now and he spends most of his time sleeping, he is still always up for cuddles and his purrs are still plentiful!

Magic of Having Hopes & Dreams Come True!
