Why do we need financial partners in our ministry?

82ND Street Theatre is reaching children, teens and their families with the gospel. We produce four shows a year with primarily volunteer leadership. Because of Shamburgers on Mission, we are able to provide administrative leadership for the theatre as a part time position. Financial partners with the ministry provide the means for this to happen.
Jesus said that where we put our treasures is where our hearts will go. If you choose to give to our ministry, we know you heart will be with us. When people give they’re much more likely to pray. I can’t convey the depth of my gratitude to those who regularly give to our ministry, and the over 200 emails who receive our prayer updates.
Paul told his readers that their prayers were a vital part of his ministry and outreach in spreading the Gospel (Romans 15:30-322 Corinthians 1:10-11). Likewise, your prayers for this ministry are an eternal investment. Prayer isn’t the least you can do for us; it’s the most.
Your partnership through prayer, giving, or both, is making a difference in the lives of the children, teens and families that connect to our little theatre. Many of these families never go to church. Often their only connection to Jesus is through 82nd Street Theatre.
For those who have chosen to partner with us in supporting our ministry by giving, I want you to know that we deeply appreciate each gift and seek to be good stewards with what God has provided. When you give you are providing a salary for us as we serve the theatre, allowing the ministry to continue and grow.

If you are a financial partner, I am thankful for you and your gift. Would you pray about increasing your monthly gift in 2017 or giving a one-time end of the year gift.

For those who have been praying for us, I would ask that you prayerfully consider giving financially to the ministry either through a one-time gift or a monthly partnership of $100 a month or some other amount.

If you'd like to make a year-end, tax-deductible donation to Shamburgers on Mission, you can do so through the North American Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention. You can find out how by clicking here.
