 Conditions Update - Killington

With a generous dusting of snow overnight and snow showers in the forecast all day, the already great skiing and riding at Killington is bound to keep getting better. And, with 359 acres of open terrain and counting, The Beast is the place to be this weekend. We do have a couple of extra chilly days ahead of us here in Killington, so be sure to follow smart cold weather practices when you venture out on Thursday and Friday: Cover up with a neck gaiter or face mask, take frequent breaks to warm up, stoke your internal furnace with periodic snacks and stay hydrated.
Now that Needle's Eye is open, our snowmakers have shifted focus to Cruise Control, which we hope to open under the guns today. We also have Snowmaking in progress on Skyeburst as we prepare to expand into Bear Mountain. Upper Mouse Run is closed today for the build out of our brand new Mouse Run Park, which is scheduled to open this weekend. As you wait for that new park to open, be sure to take a spin through Reason Terrain Park, which remains open with 7 features to tide you over.

With 20 trails already open, Pico is off to a great start this season. The next objective for Pico's snowmakers is B-Slope, and they expect to get started on it by Friday.

The East Coast's most premier rail jam is back! Competitors will drop in on an exclusive, custom built rail venue in an attempt to snag a piece of the $25,000 cash purse. Those who have what it takes to impress the judges will walk away with ultimate bragging rights for the season. Come watch the action unfold as top athletes battle it out under the lights.
