Adventurer Club is hoping to start a "grandbuddy" program in January. The idea is for each Adventurer and his or her family to connect with a senior citizen from our church family. Once a "grandbuddy" is connected, the Adventurer and his or her family will keep in touch with them at least once or twice a month with meaningful interactions such phone calls, cards, lunches together, shared social activities, exchanging small gifts, etc. I'm starting to gather names of seniors in our congregation to invite to be a part of this program. Could you please assist by either volunteering, if you are a senior citizen, or by suggesting some other seniors from our church family that may be interested? Even if the person does not speak English they could be included, as our Adventurer families are quite culturally diverse. Also, please don't let their transportation capabilities dissuade you from suggesting any person. God bless you and thank you in advance! :) For more information contact Laurie Chodorow.

Dig out your ugliest Christmas Sweater in preparation for our Ugly Christmas Sweater party on December 31, 2016, starting at 7pm. Bring your favorite snack and game and come join the fun. Prizes will be given in several different catagories.

Would you like to help out with Round Rock Blue Santa?
Wrapping starts NOV 28 at 6:30pm at 2120 N. Mays #200, and they only wrap Monday – Thursday and last day for wrapping is the 12th. Delivery day is December 16th – breakfast at 8am and delivery starts at 9am.

 The pecans are great this year. Eldon Jensen is gathering, cracking and shelling them. The entire $3.50 a pound will go to benefit Austin Stonehill Christian Academy. Call Eldon at 512.565.6207 to place your order.
