Chapter Member Survey Coming.
Please Respond by January 1.
January will be a busy month of planning for the 2017 golf season. The Board of Directors wants and needs your help. In the next couple of days, you will receive a Survey link from either your 2016 League Captain or a Board Member. Including your name and e-mail address, the entire survey consists of 14 questions and should only take a few minutes. We are gathering name and e-mail address so we can call anyone who does not respond to the survey. Look for an e-mail regarding the EWGA KC Metro Chapter Survey soon and, unless you want a Board Member to stalk you for a response, return your responses by end of day, Sunday, January 1!

USGA Local Rule Eliminates Penalty for Accidental Movement of your Ball on the Putting Green
The USGA and The R&A have announced a new Local Rule available January 1, 2017 that eliminates any penalty for accidental movement of your ball or ball marker by you, your partner, your caddie or equipment when the ball is on the putting green. The USGA has already announced that this Local Rule will be in place for its championships, qualifiers and international competitions as have all the major golf tours. This new Local Rule will be in place as of January 1, 2017 for all EWGA Championship and EWGA Cup competitions as well as our local Chapter Championship and league play.
