Prayer for the Spirit of Christmas

Lord I pray... Let me feel your loving arms wrap me tightly in the warm embrace of your endless love. Fill me with patience, love and a sense of humor. Remind me of your deep love for me and let the fire of that love be something I can share with everyone around me. Lord, Christmas isn't easy or joyful for everyone, please help me to be aware of those around me so that the gentleness and comfort of your love can shine and bring your grace and mercy. Thank You for sending your son Jesus to a little manger in a stable, so the world might know you! Amen

Celebrating Life as a team....

Fusion Canada Annual Christmas Dinner

The team Christmas Dinner has become of of the highlights of our year. It is a wonderful opportunity to get together with many friends that we have connected with through the years. This year's dinner was on Sunday, December 11 at Joce and Kelly's farm near Morinville. It was a full house including delightful little people all about!
There were folks from past Foundations courses! Some of our partners in community work were there! Some of our intrepid heroes from the 1st annual community garden (on the farm) attended!
Good food! Good friends! Lotsa great conversations! It was truly a celebration of the season!

Prayer team potlucks are an important part of our team's life! We meet every two weeks to share a meal and sit under God's Word together. The prayer team helps us to journey in life with all the messiness of community. We are blessed to share stories of our life together.

FUSION CANADA TRAINING

As the Foundations course continues to grow and the content is strengthened and renewed, we passionately want it to speak to relevant questions of our times. What makes living in community so powerful yet so hard? What about my relationship with God? With others? With myself? Perhaps there is more to this then we thought.

Join us and find out some very interesting things you might not have ever considered before.

We believe our training is a special part of what we do. We are committed to seeing Foundations and other training tools made available to as many people as possible, who want to be part of transforming lives and communities right where they live. All of us will be called to 'mission' in our neighborhoods and our careers. We would love to walk with you as you answer God's unique call on your life.

We believe no one else can do 'your part... you are uniquely you!

Foundations in Edmonton:
September to November, 2016

Our training team was pleased to be part of a Foundations course this fall, held on Tuesday nights at Knox Evangelical Free Church in the heart of Old Strathcona, in Edmonton Ab. We appreciate the commitment of each person who took the journey of this course with us. It was a blessing that our friend Eric Kregel, pastor at Knox, took the lead as one of the trainers!

Each Foundations course includes a practical mission experience. We are looking forward to the New Years Eve Festival that we will be hosting in partnership with the Mustard Seed in downtown Edmonton. What a way to ring in the New Year! Thanks to our Fusion friend Sandy Sereda for connecting us to the Mustard Seed.

GLOBAL MISSION OPPORTUNITY

"Mission to Jamaica"
July 23 to August 6, 2017

How about coming with a team from Canada
to Kingston, Jamaica next July? We will be joining our friends from Fusion Jamaica PLUS others from around the world for a two-week mission experience.

Mission to Jamaica has two parts:

Foundations (July 23 to 28): This full week training course prepares us for community mission either in our neighborhoods at home or elsewhere.
Week of Mission (July 30 to August 6): The Fusion Jamaica team will lead us into practical, hands-on mission experiences in Kingston and area.
