Laws and Rules to Protect Animals in Motor Vehicles

If you own a dog or a cat, chances are high that your furry friend rode as a passenger in your vehicle on at least a few occasions. You may have let them roam free in the backseat, permitted them to ride shotgun, or secured them in a crate, but are there laws in place that determine how pets are supposed to ride in the car? One important way The Animal Support Project raises the steady income that saves our community's needy animals is our Fantasy Pet Photo Clinics. Held multiple times each month at local businesses, these clinics fund critical  veterinary services, pet training, foster care, environmental improvements and so much more, for local pets . We are grateful to the staff and management at Benson's Pet Centers for hosting two to three of our photo clinics each month. Our photo background themes change each month and our fans and supporters enjoy collecting, gifting and showing off their pets' photos to family and friends. Nobody at TASP is paid a penny for what we do, so 100% of the donations collected at these events go toward helping our community's companion animals (all species!) remain safe and healthy with their families. Each year, TASP volunteers improve the fates of hundreds of companion animals; the TASP Fantasy Pet Photo Clinics are the fuel that keeps this engine running.
