Thank you to everyone who participated in Giving Tuesday. We were challenged by an anonymous donor to raise $2,500 for Giving Tuesday in order to earn his $2,500 match.
What a tall order!
And YOU made it happen for the animals!
The final count at midnight was $5,875!
That is incredible. Add the $2,500 match for a total of $8,375 to
help animals with serious medical needs.

Join the Animals on Christmas Eve Day for Free Family Fun
From 11-3 on Saturday, December 24th, we will host our annual holiday open house. There will be snacks and drinks and activities for children. This event is free, however, one of our goals is to inspire children to help others and we invite you to bring an item from the animals' Wish List.
Wish List Items include pet safe ice melt, gift cards to grocery stores and Wal-Mart, rabbit toys, food for young rabbits, dry dog and cat food, dog and cat toys, paper towels, and trash bags. Financial contributions are always appreciated and enable the shelter the most flexibility in responding to our animals' needs.

Supply Drive: Lebanon Pet & Aquarium Center
Want to help the animals? Stop into Lebanon Pet & Aquarium Center in the K-Mart Plaza in West Lebanon. All this week, they are collecting items for the animals at UVHS. Pick up a Wish List from a store associate or look for signs throughout the store. Thank you for all your support of UVHS and the animals!

Pet of the Week: Callie
Callie is our longest resident - she has been at UVHS for almost a year. She requires a special diet to help her lose weight. For the month of December, we are waiving Callie's adoption fee. Instead, we invite her adopter to make a donation to the shelter in the amount of their choosing. Please help Callie find a home for the holidays.
