This Christmas on December 18th, our kids and youth will be presenting “The Donkey’s Dream," a Christmas play about the donkey who carried Mary to Bethlehem and the things he dreamed along the way. ALL kids/youth are invited to participate in this fun project, which will occupy the Advent Sundays during FIRSTKids time! Contact Katie for more information!

Please join First Central Writers Group for a special meeting this month, our final one of 2016, Saturday, December 10th, at 10a.m. Judith Brodnicki will be leading us through our writing exercise centered around memoir writing, specifically Christmases past, and then we will share our current writing as usual. First Central will again be collecting toiletry and cleaning items for our friends at the First Lutheran Food Pantry. This year, instead of collecting them UNDER the tree in the parlor, we thought it might be fun to try to use the items to BUILD a tree in the parlor.  There is a small group of things already assembled, so please add your items the next time you're at the church. Please bring donations before Christmas Eve to complete our masterpiece!
