Boost your Overseas Business
The South West England Travel Trade group are running a programme of international marketing activity in 2017. There are opportunities for your tourism business to have exposure via this programme of activity. The attached Marketing Opportunities document explains the rates applicable to you as partners of VisitWiltshire for Vakantiebeurs in Netherlands and ITB Berlin, Germany. Vakantiebeurs print brochure will be going to print next week so urgent response required.

Hot off the press - New Travel Trade Guide
VisitWiltshire has just taken delivery of the new 2017/2018 Travel Trade Guide. The guide will be mailed out to around 4,000 travel trade contacts on the VisitWiltshire database, plus taken to all trade exhibitions and is available online. A copy can be downloaded here.

Thank you to everyone who has participated in the Great West Way brand positioning workshops or have taken part in the online survey. If you would like to discuss anything in relation to this project or require further information please contact David. There will be further updates in due course.

Partners Enjoy the Magnificent Longleat Festival of Lights
We were delighted to be able to invite our accommodation partners to join us at the Festival of Lights on Wednesday.  It was a perfect clear and mild evening to enjoy the spectacular displays, and a great opportunity to say hello to colleagues who were welcoming the opportunity to experience the event  in order to better inform their guests. This was the latest of our educational Familiarisation Trips for partners, designed to broaden knowledge of what the county has to offer.  If you are running an event or have an attraction and would like to host a VisitWiltshire partner visit, please contact Theresa.

A new research report examining the impact of the exchange rate on tourism to Britain has just been published. Carried out several weeks after the EU-referendum result in the UK, the analysis explores the impact that the exchange rate has on likelihood to travel by market and type of visitor.
