Publication Spotlight: The Afterlife of Greek and Roman Sculpture

For centuries, statuary décor was a main characteristic of any city, sanctuary, or villa in the Roman world. However, from the third century CE onward, the prevalence of statues across the Roman Empire declined dramatically. Lea Stirling and her co-editors recently explored the uses and re-uses of statue in their book. (read more)

Graduate Student Profile: Wanda Hounslow

Wanda Hounslow recently began her work in the Department of Sociology graduate program, her research focuses on the Canadian settler-colonial legacy that has left behind systemic and institutional racism, discrimination, criminalization, and oppression. (read more)
