“Design is as much a matter of finding problems as it is solving them.”
— BRYAN LAWSON

Have you ever done a 16-hour render in After Effects, only to have the maintenance staff kill the building’s power in the middle of it?

I have. And chances are, if you’re a creative, you have a handful of similar stories. From project fails, to stolen gear, to your artistic direction just missing the mark with a client, we all know the defeating territory of living as an artist.

But out of frustration comes lessons learned, new innovative direction, and inspiration for others. As creatives, we never give up, and we keep pressing onward into making our work meaningful. I’ve always believed that the brands and organizations that matter most have leaders behind them that live lives that matter. These are the stories we want to share through The Evening Post -- an email-only source of inspiration from other creative professionals.

The Evening Post will explore long form interviews, articles, gallery-showings and more. All with the intent of inspiring those who inspire others.

Over the next few months you’ll meet the team behind The Evening Post, our special guest curators, and hear from some of our favorite Creatives making a difference in the world around them (no matter how many late-night renderings it takes).

Enjoy.
