Festive Performances
As we draw towards the end of the school year, the calendar is full of wonderful events which showcase our children’s talents in the creative and performing arts. [READ MORE]

• Year 3 Dino-tastic Showcase: The corridor was buzzing on Wednesday morning as friends and family waited patiently for the start of the Year 3 learning showcase.
• Year 5 Building a Village Showcase: Throughout this term the Year 5 cohort has been learning all about Settlements. The children worked collaboratively to agree on a design for their village and learned about population, services, amenities and the layout of towns and villages.
• Poetry & Art Optional Homework: The children in the Primary school were asked to create a 3D piece of artwork inspired by a poem for their Optional Homework task.
• Knit a Square ECA: This term Lois Johnston-Walker, Teacher of Business Studies, has offered students the chance to get involved in an ECA called ‘Knit a Square’.
• On Raising Bilingual Children: As many students here at BISS Puxi speak two or more languages, bilingualism is a very relevant topic. Many of our parents face the daily challenges of trying to get their approach to raising bi-lingual children right.
• Music Melodies: There has been an air of excitement in our Music department this week as we begin the Christmas season with all its opportunities for engagement with music.
• The Giving Tree: Last Wednesday a group of students, from both Primary and Secondary, led by Ms Coong visited the Xiu Long Migrant School for the Giving Tree Ceremony. 
• BISS Puxi 2017 Calendar Available Now: Don’t miss out on having a copy of our first ever BISS Puxi 2017 calendar, celebrating the amazing artwork produced by our Primary and Secondary students.
