Cap-Net Virtual Campus opens applications for first course for 2017

Cap-Net presents a new online course on “Water Footprint Evaluation – ISO 14.046” (first edition in Spanish). The course will run between March 22nd and May 12th, 2017, on the Cap-Net Virtual Campus. The course is sponsored by the Global Water Programme of the Swiss Embassy in Colombia – COSUDE and also counts with the participation of Quantis Center for Cleaner Production (CNPML).

The main objective of the course is to promote technical skills of
participants in the evaluation and interpretation of studies of water
footprint, compatible with ISO 14046. Course contents offer recommendations
to professionals who carry out water footprint assessments for product(s) or
organization(s).

Regional Training Course on Water Integrity for the MENA Region
The two days training course was organised in Tunis on 7-8 December 2016 by AWARENET. The objective was to address un-ethical practices in the water sector and empower different stakeholders from inside and outside the MENA region. For more information, please contact vontoggenburg@un.org
