A Message from the Board of Directors
2017 will bring lots of opportunities for physicians under the direction of the new Presidential administration. MSNVA fully supports the President-Elect's healthcare transition team and is actively looking to serve in advisory capacity opportunities.
MSNVA will actively advocate for "The Empowering Patients, First Act" H.R. 2300, authored by Congressmen Tom Price, MD, which amends and enhances many aspects of the ACA. Dr. Price is an orthopedic surgeon recently nominated to run HHS, whose previous real practice experience is a win for physicians and patients.
Now more than ever, Physicians must unite and act as a cohesive front to protect the medical profession and income potential. A vibrant MSNVA will advocate for legislation that protects the practice of medicine and promotes physician-led innovation. There is power in numbers, invite your colleagues to join MSNVA to affect positive and favorable changes at the state and federal levels.
