For 2016 we supplied 1,057,634 m2 of insulation for 21,111 properties being fitted with SWI, generating a total carbon saving of 527,775 tonnes of CO2, generating dramatically reduced fuel bills for residents across the country.

Investing in South Wales
We had our new trade centre, distribution depot and training facility in Bridgend officially opened by Labour Shadow Minister for Employment and MP for Torfaen Nick Thomas Symonds and Chris Elmore, MP for Ogmore.

New BBA approval
We were delighted to gain British Board of Agrément (BBA) approval for our Epsitec system for installation onto timber frame buildings, offering specifiers and consultant’s further flexibility when selecting systems to work with modern methods of construction.

A visit from DECC
Continuing to support the industry in demonstrating the positive effects of government funding, we were pleased to welcome representatives from the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC), along with local MPs, local councils and energy companies when they visited the £145m Rowner Renewal Project, where EWI from Wetherby was being installed.

A winning team
We celebrated an exciting win as we scooped the award for ‘Supplier of the Year’ at this year’s National Energy Efficiency and Retrofit awards, beating tough competition from household names such as Baxi, Vallient and Daikin to take the top spot.
