Merry Christmas! And a Happy New Year
We are so thankful to share with you the joy of the Christmas season. The photo above was taken in a 428 year old Bell tower above the city of Graz where our boys had a great time getting into the Christmas traditions in Austria.
We have had a great year in Austria and a lot of change has taken place. We are excited for all the new things God is doing in the nation and in our city. This year the student ministry has really taken off in providing weekly bible study opportunities to over 40 young people. We have seen new leaders step up and are excited about what a new generation of Christian young people excited about their faith can do in Austria.
In other ministry news, Alan has begun a Masters Study program on the university which allows him a great deal of contact with students and is opening doors to discuss faith with those who have no experience of the love we know because of the Christmas season.
We are also seeing more families in our bi-weekly family bible study and continuing to be involved in the local church through Children's ministry, preaching, translation and general service.
Our boys are enjoying school, Preschool and 3rd Grade. They have Christmas parties this week, and will be performing in the church musical this weekend. We are so proud of their integration and language skills.
We are blessed to be in a country that celebrates Christmas on a large scale. We hope you can also enjoy the Christmas season well. Through all the celebrations we have the opportunity to shine light on the reason we celebrate Christmas- God's incredible love for us in coming to be born as one of us in Bethlehem.
